Just days after celebrating her 60th birthday<\/a> in Mexico, Viola Davis <\/strong>hit up the Television Academy Hall of Fame Ceremony in Los Angeles. While she attended the event with longtime friend Sally Field<\/strong>, she also brought along the two most important people in her life: husband Julius Tennon<\/strong> and their 15-year-old daughter Genesis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Though the EGOT winner occasionally posts photos of Genesis \u2014 whom she and Tennon adopted in 2011, one year after her birth \u2014 the teen has made multiple red carpet appearances with her mom.<\/p>\n

Posing for photos at the Saturday, August 16 event, both mother and daughter wowed in brightly colored dresses: Davis donned an orange frock (showing off her abs with a perfect hip cut-out) while Genesis rocked a bold red dress that featured double straps. Most importantly, she also donned a classic Louis Vuitton purse with a matching gray Labubu attached.<\/p>\n

Genesis complemented her crimson look with a matching ruby lip and red highlights interspersed throughout her braids.<\/p>\n

In addition to Davis’ own birthday celebration \u2014 during which she boasted a new ‘do as well as some steamy photos \u2014 the family feted Genesis<\/a> on her 15th birthday in July.<\/p>\n

Sharing a sweet family photo, the How to Get Away With Murder alum captioned the picture: “And just like that…..our baby is 15. Love you to the moon G…..to the moon……\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f,”<\/p>\n

Prior to the Television Academy Hall of Fame Ceremony, Genesis’ most recent red carpet appearance was in May, when she and Davis hit up the 14th Annual City Year Los Angeles Spring Break Gala together. Always showcasing their bright personalities with bold colors, the Help star wore a kelly green blazer, while Genesis opted for a pin-striped baby blue tee \u2014\u00a0her beloved gray-and-white Louis hanging from her shoulder (no Labubu this time).<\/p>\n
