NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing outside a popular local dance hall.<\/p>\n
55-year-old David Saldana of New Braunfels has been arrested and charged with Homicide, after allegedly stabbing a 52-year-old man from San Antonio, killing him.<\/p>\n
Around 12:10 a.m. on Saturday, the New Braunfels Police, the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, and Texas Department of Public Safety State Troopers were called to Legends Dance Hall for a large disturbance in the parking lot.<\/p>\n
According to the New Braunfels Police Department, upon arrival, officers found a man with an apparent stab wound, and immidietly began life-saving medical care. <\/p>\n
The 52-year-old victim was rushed to San Antonio Military Medical Center, but despite the best efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries. <\/p>\n
Based on evidence gathered at the scene, as well as witness statements, investigators identified a suspect in the homicide and quickly obtained an arrest warrant.<\/p>\n
New Braunfels SWAT apprehended the suspect without incident at a home near the corner of Gruene Road and Glenbrook Drive.<\/p>\n
Saldana will be booked into the Coma County Jail, where a bond amount will be set.<\/p>\n
