Is there more on the way?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">While the temperature has been quite normal this week, many North Texans were likely rejoicing Wednesday at signs of rain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Scattered showers brought about a quarter of an inch of rain to DFW International Airport by 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service\u2019s Fort Worth office. It had been almost 10 days since measurable rainfall had come down at the airport. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The system kept the temperature primarily in the 80s, a change from the late June average high of 93 degrees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Those perfectly seasonal conditions are expected to return Thursday, with partly sunny skies, a high of 93 degrees and a projected heat index of 99.
