Parkhill<\/a>, an architecture and engineering firm that has worked on a variety of projects in the area, has opened its new regional hub in the center of downtown Fort Worth at Frost Tower.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new office, in the 1900 suite of the 25-story Class A tower at 640 Taylor St., is in the heart of Fort Worth where the firm feels it can make more inroads into Fort Worth and Tarrant County.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Fort Worth, relationships matter most, just like at Parkhill,\u201d said Jay Edwards, Parkhill\u2019s fifth president since its founding in 1945. \u201cWe\u2019ve already built great relationships in this community through several building and park projects across Tarrant County.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 12,433-square-foot space sets a new standard for Parkhill\u2019s offices in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Senior associate Alyssa Vance and partner Kelby Sue created a cutting-edge design space that will showcase Parkhill\u2019s work and can be emulated in all of Parkhill\u2019s regional offices.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe intentionally set this out to be our flagship design for how to work moving forward,\u201d said Sue.<\/p>\n

The firm did a study after 2020 about workplace strategy and how people work, knowing work environments have changed considerably in the last few years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re no longer 100% in office, and some people are 100% out of office,\u201d he said. \u201cSo we asked ourselves, \u2018How do you blend those cultures and bring people together in one environment?\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

As a result, while the office is mostly open, there are plenty of collaboration areas and privacy rooms of several shapes and designs. There is also plenty of technology to communicate with team members not in the office.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Even the hospitality suite, located in the prominent entry foyer, offers functional seating, multimedia displays and collaboration zones reflecting Parkhill\u2019s brand and workplace philosophy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want people to understand Parkhill when they walk in the door,\u201d Sue said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
