Focus on consistency<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Short daily routines of 10\u201315 minutes or 10\u201315 reps can make a big difference. \u201cThink of exercise like brushing your teeth, skip a day if needed, but don\u2019t stress,\u201d said Chouksey. Chair stand-ups help strengthen legs and improve mobility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Bodyweight exercises<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bodyweight exercises can maintain strength without gym equipment. Wall push-ups and heel-to-toe walking are simple and effective.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Wall push-ups:<\/strong> Stand at arm\u2019s length from a wall, bend and straighten elbows. Builds upper body strength and supports heart health.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Heel-to-toe walk:<\/strong> Walk in a straight line, placing heel in front of toes. Improves balance and lowers the risk of falls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Exercises to improve heart health<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Light cardio and balance exercises keep joints healthy and the heart strong. Chouksey suggests exercises like:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Marching in place:<\/strong> Lift knees while standing tall. Use a chair for support if needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Standing side leg raises:<\/strong> Hold a chair, lift one leg sideways, then switch. Strengthens hips and improves stability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Strength training<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resistance exercises help preserve muscle and bone strength.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Seated arm curls:<\/strong> Curl light dumbbells or water bottles. Maintains muscle and bone health.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 <strong>Toe and heel raises:<\/strong> Rise onto tiptoes, then rock back on heels. Boosts posture, leg strength, and balance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Hydration, nutrition, and rest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fitness experts believe that exercise alone isn\u2019t enough. Drink enough water, include protein in meals, and get proper rest. \u201cHydration, nutrition, and recovery are as important as exercise,\u201d said Chouksey.<\/p>\n<p>By actively participating in the gym session, Owaisi set an example for people of all ages.
