{"id":154825,"date":"2025-08-18T04:30:10","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T04:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/154825\/"},"modified":"2025-08-18T04:30:10","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T04:30:10","slug":"car-stolen-with-child-inside-in-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/154825\/","title":{"rendered":"Car stolen with child inside in Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men stole a car with a child inside in Fort Worth but released the child unhurt nearby.<\/p>\n<p>FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Two men stole a car with a 5-year-old inside outside of La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth Sunday evening before abandoning the child and driving off, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to Town Center Service Road and West Seminary Drive after reports of a possible kidnapping, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said a woman was loading groceries into her vehicle while her child sat inside with the engine running. As she returned a shopping cart, two men got into the vehicle and drove off, FWPD said.<\/p>\n<p>A witness told police the men soon stopped, let the child out of the vehicle, and then continued driving. Neither the child nor the mother was hurt, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>The department said the suspects were last seen driving toward Arlington.
