Illustration by Jordan Johnson<\/a><\/p>\n Mavericks should keep these important dates in mind as they begin the fall semester.<\/p>\n Late registration<\/strong><\/p>\n Any student can register for fall classes during the late registration period from Monday to Friday. <\/p>\n Labor Day<\/strong><\/p>\n Campus will be closed to observe the holiday Sept. 1. Classes will resume the next day. <\/p>\n Census date<\/strong><\/p>\n UTA\u2019s official enrollment count will be done Sept. 3. No withdrawals or grades will be posted for courses dropped before 5 p.m. that day. <\/p>\n Last day to drop<\/strong><\/p>\n Oct. 31 is the last day for students to drop classes. Drop requests must be submitted in MyMav before 4 p.m. <\/p>\n Spring 2026 registration begins<\/strong><\/p>\n Registration for the spring 2026 semester begins Nov. 3. <\/p>\n Thanksgiving break<\/strong><\/p>\n The university will be closed for Thanksgiving break Nov. 26-28. Classes resume Dec. 1. <\/p>\n Last day of classes and student study day<\/strong><\/p>\n Dec. 2 is the last day of classes. No classes will be held Dec. 3 for a student study day in preparation for final exams. <\/p>\n Final exams<\/strong><\/p>\n Final exams will be held Dec. 4-10. The official last day of the semester is Dec. 10. Students can find exam dates for the fall semester<\/a> on UTA\u2019s website. <\/p>\n
