The Fever toughed out an overtime victory against the Connecticut Sun, winning 99-93 and bumping their record to 19-16.<\/p>\n

Cunningham\u2019s love for cowboy vibes goes back beyond the last month. In December, she was spotted at the Las Vegas Convention Center at the \u201cCowboy Christmas\u201d event rocking classic western style, denim Daisy Dukes, a sheer black top under a slick leather jacket, boots, and a matching hat. The look even featured a Burberry bag for good measure.<\/p>\n

Cunningham\u2019s Sunday had a twist. She went down with a knee injury in the second quarter<\/a> against the Connecticut Sun\u00a0while defending a play. Connecticut\u2019s Bria Hartley drove hard to the basket and collided awkwardly with Cunningham\u2019s right leg.<\/p>\n

Cunningham grabbed her knee and needed help getting off the court. She didn\u2019t return for the rest of the game, spending the remainder of the contest on the bench. Even so, the Fever found a way to rally. Indiana trailed by as many as 21 points, but caught a groove in the second half and forced overtime. The Fever outscored the Sun 10-4 in the extra period to lock up the win.<\/p>\n

Now the team turns its attention to the next challenge. Indiana will host the Minnesota Lynx on August 22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Whether Cunningham will be available is anyone\u2019s guess.<\/p>\n
