Liverpool have six players currently on loan, but only four featured across the weekend, with Vitezslav Jaros<\/a> impressing during his second outing in the Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

John Heitinga\u2019s Ajax dropped their first points of the season over the weekend, with Jaros conceding twice against Go Ahead Eagles in their first Eredivisie away game of the season. <\/p>\n

Jaros, making his second start of the season, earned a rating of 5.9-out-of-10 from FotMob<\/a>, with a goals prevented of -0.46, which means he conceded more goals than he would have expected to.<\/p>\n

He did, however, make an important save in the closing minutes of the match by stopping a free-kick from Victor Edvardsen on the edge of the area to keep the score at 2-2 \u2013 it was his only save of the match.<\/p>\n

It is Heitinga who is under the microscope, though, with De Telegraaf<\/a> saying, \u201cThe unfinished search and the puzzle cost Ajax its first two league points.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Dutch outlet De Volkskrant<\/a>, however, says Jaros \u201cis performing admirably\u201d despite the \u201cchaos\u201d at Ajax, with De Telegraaf adding that he \u201conce again made a strong impression\u201d as Ajax\u2019s No. 1. <\/p>\n

Although Ajax are finding their feet under Heitinga, the early positive reviews of Jaros make for welcome reading after keeping a clean sheet in their opening game. <\/p>\n

He may anticipate a quieter third outing, though, as Ajax host bottom of the table Heracles on Sunday \u2013 a match Heitinga will be expected to win.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Luca Stephenson<\/a> made his second debut for Dundee United after returning for a second spell, playing 90 minutes in midfield as his side were knocked out of the Scottish League Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harvey Davies tasted his fourth defeat in succession with Crawley Town, while Owen Beck<\/a> is expected to be out until after the September international break due to a setback with a muscle injury. <\/p>\n

A host of Liverpool youngsters are expected to head out on loan in the final fortnight of the transfer window, including Calvin Ramsay<\/a>, Kaide Gordon<\/a>, Lewis Koumas<\/a>, James McConnell<\/a>, Luke Chambers<\/a> and James Balagizi.<\/p>\n
