\u201cIt helps kind of build these new buildings. It helps bring on the exceptional talent that we need to deliver the care for this. So, it does everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Harrison said it can be difficult to find the right words to describe what Phoenix Children\u2019s provides.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like it; it\u2019s just pure magic,\u201d he said. \u201cYou just can\u2019t put anything really tangible into there because there\u2019s so many things that go into making this place special.\u201d<\/p>\n
The service goes beyond patient treatment, Harrison explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re looking at the whole family as a unit,\u201d he said. \u201cThey\u2019re thinking about the patient and delivering exceptional care, but they\u2019re thinking about what is the whole family going through, how are we making sure that the parents are staying strong, that the child is being delivered the exceptional care but a sibling might be included as part of that care.\u201d<\/p>\n
How to donate during 2025 Phoenix Children\u2019s Give-A-Thon<\/p>\n
The 17th annual Give-A-Thon is presented by Your Valley Hyundai Dealers and Yrefy. Sister radio stations KTAR News (5 a.m.-7 p.m.) and Arizona Sports (6 a.m.-6 p.m.) are airing the event daily through Friday, with one segment per hour dedicated to Phoenix Children\u2019s and its services.<\/p>\n
