We did it!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to our tireless organizing over many months, our historic ULP Strike that rocked LA\u00a0County, plus our direct action at various worksites and at Board of Supervisors\u2019 offices, we now have\u00a0before us a strong\u00a0Tentative Agreement that we can all be proud of.<\/p>\n

Our proposed new TA features:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In year one: <\/strong>An historic, largest-ever $5,000 bonus<\/p>\n

In year two: <\/strong>A $2,000 bonus and a 2% COLA increase<\/p>\n

In year three:<\/strong> A 5% COLA increase<\/p>\n

An 8% annual healthcare contribution (24% over three years)<\/p>\n

The removal of LA County management\u2019s proposed \u201cPoison Pill\u201d language, which would have erased\u00a0our ability to bargain for more at our unit tables<\/p>\n

Plus improvements to grievance language, expanded union access to NEOs, and a commitment to fill\u00a0vacancies<\/p>\n

These are hard-fought gains that were only made possible because we, the members of SEIU 721,\u00a0demanded them. Now, it\u2019s time to secure our strong new contract by voting YES to ratify it.<\/p>\n
