Born on May 17, 1970, to Kenneth and Sandra Henderson, Challee lived a life full of passion, creativity, and deep devotion to the people and things she loved most. Challee was a woman of many interests and talents. She had an artist’s soul, often found behind the lens of her camera capturing life’s meaningful moments—whether it was a family gathering, a quiet landscape, or the laughter of her nieces and nephews. Music played a central role in her life. Her personal soundtrack was filled with the bold, soulful sounds of Lenny Kravitz, the rhythm and energy of Janet Jackson, and the unmatched genius of Prince. Those artists gave voice to her fierce individuality and inspired her in countless ways. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Challee cheered on her team with unwavering loyalty, win or lose. Sundays in football season were sacred, and her passion for the game brought family and friends together time and again. Challee’s love extended far beyond her personal passions. Inspired by her beloved mother Sandra’s battle with breast cancer, she became a strong advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness. But above all, family was the foundation of Challee’s world. She was the heart of every celebration—the one who never missed a birthday party, holiday gathering, or milestone event. She gave freely of her time, her energy, and her heart. Her nieces and nephews adored her, and she returned that love with unmatched devotion and warmth. She is survived by her siblings: Kenneth (Kiana) Henderson, Keith (Vanessa) Henderson, Christopher Holleman (Kennyachtta Chapman) and a host of nieces, nephews, God children, and friends, who will carry her memory with them always. Though her journey here has ended, Challee’s spirit lives on—in every photograph, every song played loud, every touchdown by the Cowboys, and every memory made with the people she loved. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-challees-family-in-their-time-of-need/cl/s?v=amp14_t2&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp13_c-amp14_t2&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_US&attribution_id=sl%3Ac1b977c0-111a-4ebb-9ecc-b5e6e20d6272&ts=1752882086

Related

View more details from the funeral home site.

Fort Worth Report is certified by the Journalism Trust Initiative for adhering to standards for ethical journalism.

Obituary for Challee Henderson May 17, 1970 – July 10, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing…

[5138
5229,7371,7372,9455,9960,358,3187,67,586,132,5230,68,2969
0":"post-157818","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-fort-worth","8":"tag-america","9":"tag-fort-worth","10":"tag-fortworth","11":"tag-obituary","12":"tag-syndication","13":"tag-texas","14":"tag-tx","15":"tag-united-states","16":"tag-united-states-of-america","17":"tag-unitedstates","18":"tag-unitedstatesofamerica","19":"tag-us","20":"tag-usa
["GET
