(Supplied: Bunbury Magistrates Court)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;Death was delayed to enable the offenders to capture the moment; both did not care about the stress pigs were exhibiting,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t take the view they intended the pigs to be harmed, but that harm was inevitable in my view.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Magistrate Andretich said Lang and Parker had not shown remorse for their actions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Neither reacted as the penalty was handed down.<\/p>\n<p>Evidence posted to social media\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">The case centred on whether Lang and Parker had promoted pig hunting by posting videos online.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Feral pigs are declared pests in WA and cause an estimated $100 million worth of damage every year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">While trained dogs can be used to flush out pigs from bushland, using dogs to attack and &#8220;bring down&#8221; feral pigs is unacceptable under state codes of practice.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Woman with blonde hair and a black top looking away from camera \" class=\"Image_image__5tFYM ContentImage_image__DQ_cq\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/b7540ffd633faecee337a26d1d61469b\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"Image\" data-lazy=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP FigureCaption_text__zDxQ5 Typography_sizeMobile12__w_FPC Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Marie Ann Parker was found guilty of animal cruelty and promoting a prohibited activity.
