{"id":158108,"date":"2025-08-19T10:03:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T10:03:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/158108\/"},"modified":"2025-08-19T10:03:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T10:03:25","slug":"main-street-bridge-closed-for-repairs-after-boat-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/158108\/","title":{"rendered":"Main Street Bridge closed for repairs after boat crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 The Main Street Bridge in Downtown Jacksonville closed early Tuesday after a boat crash, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Around 2:30 a.m., JSO said the bridge would remain closed for at least six hours for repairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Florida Department of Transportation told News4JAX the bridge will remain closed until crews are 100 percent certain the bridge is safe and reliable, and added the inspectors have a safety checklist they will go through at the site of the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThe bridge is operated 24\/7 and was immediately closed for safety.
