Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of the late President John F. Kennedy, took aim at first lady Melania Trump and her letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin in a mocking video on social media. <\/p>\n
On Monday, Schlossberg, 32, posted a video<\/a> on X, formerly Twitter, where he sported a blonde wig and read aloud Trump\u2019s letter to Putin while imitating her accent. The clip has 400,000-plus views on the platform as of this writing. <\/p>\n Schlossberg, known for his controversial online presence<\/a>, <\/a>wrapped up his video by criticizing the letter, adding while still imitating her voice, \u201cWhat am I saying, this makes no sense. Please be more specific, Miss Melania Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cA message from our BEAUTIFUL FIRST LADY thank you for your attention to this matter!!\u201d Schlossberg captioned his post. <\/p>\n In the first lady\u2019s \u201cpeace letter\u201d to Putin, which was obtained by Fox News<\/a> on Friday, she told the world leader \u201cit is time\u201d to protect children and future generations worldwide. Though the letter did not specifically mention Ukraine or Russia\u2019s invasion of the country, it was hand-delivered to Putin by President Donald Trump ahead of their summit in Alaska<\/a> last week. The Trump-Putin meeting was met with scrutiny<\/a> after the pair ended the summit without reaching a ceasefire in the ongoing war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n \u201cDear President Putin,\u201d the first lady\u2019s letter begins. \u201cEvery child shares the same quiet dreams in their heart, whether born randomly into a nation\u2019s rustic countryside or a magnificent city-center. They dream of love, possibility, and safety from danger.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the letter, she directly told him, \u201cMr. Putin, you can singlehandedly restore their melodic laughter. In protecting the innocence of these children, you will do more than serve Russia alone\u2014you serve humanity itself.\u201d<\/p>\n She wrapped up her letter by telling Putin: \u201cIt is time.\u201d <\/p>\n Reps for Melania Trump and Schlossberg did not immediately respond to HuffPost\u2019s requests for comment. <\/p>\n The first lady has not yet publicly addressed Schlossberg\u2019s video. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, Trump publicly praised his wife\u2019s letter to Putin while speaking with reporters in the Oval Office during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday. <\/p>\n \u201cShe loves children, and she hates to see something like this happening, and that goes for other wars too. I mean, she sees the heartbreak, the parents, the funerals that you see on television \u2014 always funerals.
