Kenny Wallace has spent 18 years racing in more than 300 Cup events. After moving to broadcasting and commentary, Wallace connected with even more NASCAR<\/a> fans. With that kind of following, it\u2019s no surprise people would want a piece of his racing past.<\/p>\n

This weekend, they\u2019ll have a shot. The 61-year-old is hosting a garage sale and fans can grab some of Wallace\u2019s racing gear.<\/p>\n

Why Is Kenny Wallace Selling His Racing Gear This Weekend?<\/p>\n

Wallace isn\u2019t parting with his NASCAR memorabilia, but he has been racing dirt since hanging up his Cup helmet. He\u2019s offering up some of his dirt racing firesuits and a couple of helmets, along with die-cast vehicles. This gear is all coming directly from his collection.<\/p>\n

He hyped the sale on X, posting photos and details so fans know exactly what\u2019s available.<\/p>\n

The die-cast vehicles seem to be getting the most fan attention so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh the 1:24 diecast Are the best! To bad I am no where near Missouri would love to pick up one for the collection,\u201d one fan commented<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another added, \u201cKenny I will venmo you and pay shipping for the red dog truck plus enough for a case of beer if you send it to me that\u2019s bad a**\u201d asked<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wallace did catch some flak for pricing his used helmets between $250 and $500.<\/p>\n

\u201care you s**g me with those helmet prices? that s**t better be in pesos esay,\u201d one comment read<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But a fan was quick to point out the retail cost, saying, \u201cThose helmets, especially the custom painted ones, are like triple that brand new\u2026\u201d commented<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How Does Kenny Wallace View Dale Earnhardt Jr.\u2019s Family-First Racing Approach?<\/p>\n

Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his second CARS Tour start of the year at Anderson Motor Speedway on Saturday night. After the race, he said<\/a> that he enjoys running four times a year and doesn\u2019t want to miss more family time than he already has. Earnhardt Jr. still feels the urge to race but keeps it in check because his family comes first.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Wallace gets it. He responded, \u201cI know there\u2019s a time where it\u2019s (racing) all got to stop, right?\u201d Wallace said<\/a>. \u201cI know that there will be a day where there\u2019s an end. So, I could really relate with a very emotional Dale Jr. after the Anderson CARS Tour race.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cDale Jr. has spent his whole life racing. Dale Jr. is a family man. He loves his children. Now, there are some race car drivers that think it\u2019s all about them, and they don\u2019t drop everything they are doing for their children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wallace wrapped up his thoughts, emphasizing, \u201cOne thing I admire about Dale Earnhardt Jr. is he\u2019s a lot like me. We drop everything we are doing for our kids.\u201d<\/p>\n
