Plus, there\u2019s a deadly Deathclaw stalking the irradiated city that comes face to face with Walton Goggins\u2019 Ghoul and Ella Purnell\u2019s Lucy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAfter briefly appearing in a flashback in Season 1, Robert House returns in a much larger way in Season 2, but this time he\u2019s played by Theroux. In the popular video game \u201cFallout: New Vegas,\u201d House is the ruler of the city, which was nearly destroyed by the nuclear war. In Season 1, it\u2019s revealed that House met with other corporate leaders to intentionally drop a nuclear bomb on themselves to ensure that Vault-Tec\u2019s profits would thrive and endure. In the game, House uses this insider information to fortify New Vegas and preserve his body in a coma to rule once he awakens more than 100 years later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSeason 2 of \u201cFallout\u201d will premiere on Prime Video on Dec. 17 and release a new episode weekly until the finale on Feb. 4. \u201cThe new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One\u2019s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas,\u201d the logline teases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe cast includes Purnell, Aaron Moten, Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Mois\u00e9s Arias and Frances Turner. After the Season 1 finale, Lucy is searching for her father (MacLachlan), who betrayed her, and the Ghoul is on the hunt for his family, who may have survived the nuclear war. Their search brings them to New Vegas, and flashbacks with Goggins\u2019 Cooper Howard (his pre-Ghoul identity) and House tease the truth behind who dropped the nuclear bombs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cFallout\u201d is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners. Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios, executive produces along with James Altman for Bethesda Softworks.
