The Colts\u2019 Daniel Jones decision<\/a> isn\u2019t going over well with Anthony Richardson\u2019s camp.<\/p>\n

The young quarterback\u2019s agent, Deiric Jackson, spoke to ESPN on Tuesday<\/a> after Jones was named the team\u2019s starting signal-caller, and he didn\u2019t sound happy, to say the least.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a lot to discuss,\u201d Jackson told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Jackson said making Jones the starter and \u201csome previous situations involving Richardson have damaged the team\u2019s credibility,\u201d according to ESPN.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTrust is a big factor and that is, at best, questionable right now,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cAnthony came back and made the improvements in the areas he needed to improve. And by all accounts, he had a great camp.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richardson\u2019s tenure has been marked by up-and-down play and injuries since being taken at No. 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He played in just four games during his rookie season in 2023 after undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery that October.<\/p>\n

Last season, Richardson played in 11 games, and famously asked out of a Week 8 loss to the Texans because he said he needed a break.<\/p>\n

Still, Jackson said Richardson has done enough in a limited time over the last couple of seasons to merit more from the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen they needed a big play last year,\u201d Jackson said, according to ESPN, \u201cwhose hands did they put the ball in? Anthony\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richardson struck a slightly different tone on Tuesday after the news broke, saying there were \u201cno hard feelings\u201d between him and team brass.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201c[Colts head coach Shane Steichen] made a decision,\u201d Richardson said. \u201cThat\u2019s the decision we\u2019ve got to live with, but no hard feelings, nothing personal. I\u2019ve just got to keep growing. I just can\u2019t let me not being a starter stop me from going and being the person, the player that I\u2019m supposed to be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jones signed with the Colts this offseason after being released by the Giants last November<\/a>, after a rollercoaster five-and-a-half seasons in New York.<\/p>\n
