NEW YORK CITY — A special premiere, more than 15 years in the making, was held on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Amanda Knox walked the red carpet alongside her husband, at the New York City premiere of her new scripted series about her life.<\/p>\n
She’s an executive producer of the “Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox,” starring Grace Van Patten.<\/p>\n
She was on set reliving some of the hardest moments of her life, but the series gave her a chance to tell her story her way, like never before.<\/p>\n
Knox says she simply wanted to tell the truth after so many years of salacious headlines.<\/p>\n
Knox had studied abroad in Italy when she was arrested for the murder of her roommate in 2007. She spent four years in prison before her wrongful conviction was overturned.<\/p>\n
The first two episodes of the “Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox,” drop Wednesday on Hulu, with new episodes every Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Hulu is owned by Disney, the same parent company as ABC Owned Television Stations.<\/p>\n
