Less than three weeks into his loan spell at Rangers, Tottenham starlet Mikey Moore potentially faces a season-defining game as the Scottish giants look to qualify for the Champions League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the start of this month, Moore joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal<\/a>, with no obligation or option to buy.<\/p>\n

It subsequently broke that Moore had signed a new contract at Tottenham before going out on loan<\/a>, much to the delight of Spurs fans.<\/p>\n

The attacking midfielder will be looking to make an impression up north this season as Thomas Frank<\/a> and his staff will be tracking his progress closely, and he faces an acid test early in his spell at Ibrox.<\/p>\n

Moore has made it clear that he wants to be one of the best players in the world<\/a>, and for that, he wants to compete at the highest level.<\/p>\n

The prospect of playing Champions League<\/a> football is perhaps one of the reasons the 18-year-old decided to move to Rangers, but his side are in danger of being out of the competition before it even begins.<\/p>\n

Rangers are currently involved in a tussle with Club Brugge for a place in Europe\u2019s premier club competition, and the Scottish side were beaten 3-1 at home on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The Tottenham man came on as a 70th-minute substitute in the first leg and, despite some tidy moments, he failed to stamp his mark on the fixture.<\/p>\n

Rangers will be looking to turn the tie around in Belgium in the return leg next Thursday evening, and the Spurs<\/a> youngster will be hoping to start.<\/p>\n

If Moore<\/a> can fire the Scottish club into the Champions League, he will become an early Rangers hero.<\/p>\n

Moore has already made his mark in the Scottish League Cup<\/p>\n

Mikey Moore got his first start for Rangers in the Scottish League Cup on Saturday, and the teenager produced an assist for Rangers as they won 4-2 against Alloa United.<\/p>\n

On the back of that performance, one would expect the Tottenham academy graduate to start against Brugge.<\/p>\n

Rangers boss Russel Martin has already raved about Moore<\/a>, clearly impressed with what he has seen from him on the training ground so far.<\/p>\n

The former Southampton boss will be hoping that the youngster can produce some magic against Brugge tomorrow, and a lot of Spurs fans will be tuning in to see how the youngster performs in the high-pressure fixture.<\/p>\n
