\n\tParamount<\/a> is offering a unique gift for fans to promote this week\u2019s digital release<\/a> of Mission: Impossible \u2014 The Final Reckoning, but you might need to be skilled at Morse code to fully appreciate it. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe official X account for the Tom Cruise<\/a>-led film franchise posted<\/a> an enticing offer on Wednesday, although it was not quite as good as it initially seemed. \u201cThe mission was compromised,\u201d the account teased. \u201cSo we had one option left: release everything. Full movie on YouTube now.\u201d The post included a link<\/a> to a YouTube video from the Paramount Movies page. <\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, once fans clicked on the link, they were taken to a moving image suggesting that an IMF spy radio is relaying a message. The video features an audio recording of a long string of dots and dashes \u2014 which happens to be the script of the eighth Mission: Impossible movie played in Morse code.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA secure livestream of Mission: Impossible \u2014 The Final Reckoning full movie is running now,\u201d reads the cheeky description of the video. It goes on to reference the rogue AI that IMF aims to destroy in the movie series: \u201cBut the Entity has infiltrated every major streaming platform, so this livestream was compromised. The full script had to be transmitted in Morse Code to avoid detection. We need your help decoding it. Your mission begins now.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tComments for the YouTube video have been turned off, but responses to the X post suggest that users got a kick out of the stunt that was timed to National Radio Day.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPeak trolling,\u201d wrote<\/a> one user who added a crying emoji. Another individual responded<\/a>, \u201cThe entire script in Morse Code. Insane! Love it lol.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDirector Christopher McQuarrie<\/a>\u2018s movie hit theaters in May and was billed as Cruise\u2019s farewell to character Ethan Hunt. Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg also star in the film that was released Tuesday on digital formats. Mission: Impossible \u2014 The Final Reckoning is set to debut at a later date on Paramount+, where the franchise\u2019s first seven titles are currently available. <\/p>\n
