\n\tDespite marrying into the Kennedy dynasty, Chris Pratt<\/a> apparently keeps politics off the table during family dinner.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe MCU<\/a> star, whose wife Katherine Schwarzenegger is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a>\u2018s cousin, called the US secretary of health and human services \u201cgreat,\u201d explaining that he assumes the best of his in-law.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve spent a number of occasions hanging with him, just in a strictly family dinner kind of vibe, and I really got along with him well,\u201d he said on the Club Random<\/a> podcast. \u201cI think he\u2019s great. I think he\u2019s funny. I like him. I love him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCalling politics a \u201cnasty business,\u201d Pratt said he\u2019s seen \u201chow the person you are can be such a contrast to the person that people are being told that you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen asked about RFK Jr.\u2019s history of spreading medical misinformation, he said, \u201cWhen you jump on the bandwagon with the most divisive president ever, it makes sense that you\u2019re going to be made to look terrible. So I don\u2019t know what to believe. It\u2019s not like I sit with Bobby and go, \u2018So hey, let\u2019s talk about this.\u2019 We\u2019re just playing cards or playing Mafia or having fun or having dinner. I\u2019m not going to pick his brain to find out exactly which of those things are true. I just kind of assume that none of them are, and for the most part, I wish him well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tPratt also called for President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s critics to celebrate his administration\u2019s successes. \u201cI\u2019d hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something I\u2019d have an allergic reaction to,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter RFK Jr. dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Trump<\/a>, Pratt opted not to endorse any candidate<\/a> in the 2024 election, writing in a column for mother-in-law Maria Shriver\u2019s Sunday Paper that he\u2019s \u201ctrying to make sense of the election through the eyes of Americans on both sides.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Despite marrying into the Kennedy dynasty, Chris Pratt apparently keeps politics off the table during family dinner.
