He was present at the time.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/sports\/nfl\/kansas-city-chiefs\/article311767668.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">neither Reid nor anyone else was struck<\/a> by the bullet or injured in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Reid now has bulletproof glass in his office.<\/p>\n<p>Per the report, the bullet became lodged in a wall, roughly 15 feet from where Reid was sitting. It happened shortly after midnight on May 4, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation, as an aggravated assault. Police maintain that there is no proof it was targeted at any specific person or organization.<\/p>\n<p>The league recently <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/after-shooting-at-345-park-avenue-nfl-recommends-new-security-measures-to-teams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">recommended various security enhancements<\/a> to its teams, in the aftermath of last month\u2019s shooting at the NFL\u2019s headquarters on Park Avenue in Manhattan. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In May 2024, a bullet was fired into the office of Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
