The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County recorded its largest increase since June 18 Thursday, rising nine-tenths of a cent to $4.56.<\/p>\n
The average price is a half-cent more than one week ago, but seven- tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 10.6 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.<\/p>\n
The average price has dropped $1.88 since rising to a record $6.43 on Oct. 5, 2022.<\/p>\n
The national average price rose four-tenths of a cent to $3.14, one day after a five-day streak of decreases totaling 3 cents ended with an increase of three-tenths of a cent.<\/p>\n
The national average price is 2.3 cents less than one week ago, three- tenths of a cent lower than one month ago and 26 cents below what it was one year ago.
