An employee at a Walmart in Upstate New York has been accused of stealing more than $10,000 from the store.<\/p>\n
WHAM <\/a>reports David Ashworth was arrested after his cash register was $10,047 short last Thursday at the Walmart in Victor, N.Y. The Ontario County Sheriff\u2019s Office said investigators determined he removed the money during his work shift and hid a money bag with the cash inside.<\/p>\n Ashworth, 51, allegedly retrieved the pouch at the end of his shift, concealed it on his body, and left the store with the cash, deputies said.<\/p>\n WHEC<\/a> reports Ashworth was arrested Monday night and charged with grand larceny in the third degree.
