In a new addition to the #bestphonesforever ad series published just one month ago, Google already starting poking fun at the possibility of the iPhone 17 Pro adopting a Pixel-like camera bar. <\/p>\n

Considering how often Apple\u2019s designs have been copied\u2014including by Google<\/a>\u2014this kind of finger-wagging, even if meant as a joke, feels a bit rich personally. <\/p>\n

But Apple\u2019s iconic founder and former CEO Steve Jobs might\u2019ve been of two minds on the strategy. <\/p>\n

On the topic of competitors copying Apple\u2019s work, Jobs once told his biographer Walter Isaacson<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m going to destroy Android, because it\u2019s a stolen product. I\u2019m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet he also told Isaacson, \u201cPicasso had a saying \u2013 \u2018good artists copy, great artists steal\u2019 \u2013 and we [Apple] have always been shameless about stealing great ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Setting aside debates about design originality \u2014 and whatever cameras end up living in that bold new slab \u2014 a full-width camera bar might finally fix one long-standing iPhone annoyance.
