American tennis player Sachia Vickery, who made headlines this week over her OnlyFans career<\/a>, is using the subscription-based content platform to invest in her career in the sport.<\/p>\n

Following Thursday\u2019s loss to Germany\u2019s Ella Seidel in the second round of US Open qualifying, Vickery explained that she doesn\u2019t see a negative side to joining OnlyFans \u201cbecause it\u2019s given me a better life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, and another part of, you know, the tennis and OnlyFans aspect is\u2026 when you\u2019re on tour you\u2019re not automatically making a ton of money,\u201d Vickery, 30, told The Post from Flushing Meadows. \u201cYes, I have done very well throughout my career. I\u2019ve made great investments from the time I was young, so you know, it\u2019s like I\u2019m fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut at the same time, tennis players spend $100K plus a year on coaching, hotels, food, training, physio. So if I have another avenue where I\u2019m able to make a lot of money to support that, you know, I don\u2019t see anything negative with it, personally.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an expensive sport, so you know I invest a lot of my money from there back into tennis, and I think that\u2019s one thing people don\u2019t understand. They think it\u2019s, you know, I\u2019m just doing it to do it. It\u2019s a great moneymaker. It\u2019s a great investment. If I have the potential to make a lot of money on there, why am I not going to take it? It\u2019s it\u2019s giving me a better life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vickery, ranked world No. 559, has made a reported $2 million in 14-plus years of pro tennis. She ranked as high as No. 73 in 2018.<\/p>\n

She said she missed time after tearing her shoulder earlier this year and had just returned to the court six weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Vickery said she is next headed to Mexico to continue restarting her career (the Guadalajara Open is next month).<\/p>\n

She made headlines when she opened up about her OnlyFans career in a Q&A on Instagram this week. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very open-minded and I don\u2019t care what people think of me,\u201d Vickery said. \u201cIt\u2019s also the easiest money I\u2019ve ever made and I enjoy doing it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will never talk s\u2013t about girls on OnlyFans ever again for the rest of my life. Because the amount I made on there in my first two days, I am overwhelmed. I am just shook really.\u201d <\/p>\n

Vickery charges $12.99 a month for \u201cthe content too spicy for Instagram,\u201d according to her OnlyFans bio.<\/p>\n

She said she got started when she saw how well a friend was doing on the platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a really close friend who is a huge creator on there,\u201d she told The Post. \u201cI saw he was doing really well, he\u2019s obviously at a different level than I am\u2026. It\u2019s a fun way where I get to be myself a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Florida native also charges $1,000 to date her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI no longer date for free due to the behavior of men I now require a pre-date deposit send me $1,000 and we can make it happen,\u201d she told her 40,000 Instagram followers, adding her CashApp information.<\/p>\n
