Similarly, the South Korean tech giant’s S21 series was only ensured for four major Android upgrades, with One UI 7 being the last of the bunch. The S21 FE, on the other hand, shipped with Android 12 out of the box, so it is eligible to receive Android 16-based One UI 8.

Similarly, One UI 8 will be the last major OS update for Samsung’s 2022-released Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, and the same goes for the mid-range Galaxy A33 and A73.

It’s not entirely clear if Samsung will expand the One UI 8 beta program to all the above-mentioned devices, or if the update will simply land in stable. Regardless, the fact that Samsung is already testing internal builds for said devices paints a promising picture of a faster rollout!

Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7 was marred by delays, but the South Korean tech giant isn’t making…

[17
611,158,67,132,68
0":"post-165289","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-mobile","9":"tag-technology","10":"tag-united-states","11":"tag-unitedstates","12":"tag-us
["GET
