Bill Hader has the tea on Martin Kove. <\/p>\n
Over 10 years before Martin kove, 78, bit his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim<\/a>\u00a0at a fan convention this past weekend, Hader, 47, spoke about a bizarre encounter he had with the \u201cCobra Kai\u201d actor on the \u201cWTF with Marc Maron\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n During the 2013 episode<\/a>, Hader recalled that at age 20 his job was to drive actors to sets. Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m driving him around in my s\u2014ty car, and he got me lost on purpose,\u201d Hader claimed, adding that Kove \u201chadn\u2019t read the script yet,\u201d so he gave the \u201cBarry\u201d star the wrong directions.<\/p>\n Hader said that after they arrived late, he got \u201cscreamed at\u201d by his\u00a0boss. <\/p>\n Bill Hader at the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco in 2013. Getty Images for Comedy Central<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a terrible day,\u201d Hader said of the moment, which only got worse.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the way back, we\u2019re driving,\u201d Hader recalled. \u201cIt\u2019s at night, and we\u2019re driving down the freeway. Getty Images for Paramount+<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a weird mind f\u2013k of, like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna get you this thing,\u2019 and then he ate it in front of me,\u201d Hader added. \u201cAnd then I just drove home in silence.\u201d<\/p>\n Hader, who referred to the interaction as his \u201cfirst \u2018welcome to Hollywood, kid\u2019 moment,\u201d noted that he had to keep driving Kove to work for a few more days.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I didn\u2019t talk to him after that,\u201d Hader said. \u201cI just kind of stared straight ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n Bill Hader at a Warner Bros. presentation at CinemaCon 2025. REUTERS<\/p>\n Despite Kove\u2019s rudeness, Hader said he gave the martial artist a pass.<\/p>\n \u201cI heard he was going through a divorce, or something was happening with him,\u201d Hader noted. \u201cHe might be a really nice guy, but I just \u2026 rubbed him the wrong way. Puyallup Police Dept.<\/p>\n When he was questioned about the incident by police, Kove reportedly \u201cadmitted to biting\u201d Hannah-Kim but claimed \u201che did it out of jest.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe thought he was being funny, and they play fight all the time on the set of\u00a0\u2018Cobra Kai,\u2019 and he did not think it was a big deal,\u201d the report stated.<\/p>\n Alicia Hannah-Kim attends \u201cCobra Kai\u201d premiere in September 2022.
