The collection, which will be available beginning Saturday, Aug. 23 at the KPBS San Diego Book Festival, includes \u201cPride and Prejudice,\u201d \u201cEmma,\u201d \u201cSense and Sensibility,\u201d and more. It also coincides with the 250th anniversary of Austen\u2019s birth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAusten\u2019s novels are timeless, and we designed the books to reflect her appeal over centuries,\u201d said publisher Peter Norton. \u201cThe covers of the books have a bright and modern color palette.\u00a0 The book spines have a heat burnished floral design that unifies the six novels on any bookshelf.\u00a0 Similarly, each of the six novels has a portion of Monet\u2019s \u201cThe Artist\u2019s Garden at Giverny\u201d printed on the edges of the books.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010, Canterbury Classics has published nearly 100 titles and sold more than 11 million books around the world. Norton said the publishing company aims to offer new editions of classics to cater to an evolving world.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClassics are timeless but retail environments and formats of consumption are constantly changing,\u201d Norton said. \u201cWe aspire to create something special to help connect timeless authors with contemporary consumers.
