Silksong is a full sequel to the excellent Hollow Knight and is currently the most wishlisted game on Steam, so it\u2019s likely going to be very popular when it\u2019s finally available.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Panik Arcade, which was set to release its \u201chellish gambling roguelike\u201d CloverPit on September 3rd, has pushed the game\u2019s launch to September 26th. \u201cWe poured our hearts into our little game so of course we want to give it the best possible shot,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.steampowered.com%2Fnews%2Fapp%2F3314790%2Fview%2F520848458437886253\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Panik Arcade says<\/a>. \u201cWe hope you can understand \u2014 we\u2019ll use the extra time of course to polish the game even further and we hope for your support at launch either way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Talegames, which was planning to launch the adventure RPG Faeland out of early access on September 9th, is postponing the release and plans to share a new date soon. \u201cThis wasn\u2019t an easy decision,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.steampowered.com%2Fapp%2F1280080%2FFaeland%2F\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Talegames says<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019ve poured years of work and love into Faeland, and we want to make sure it arrives at a time when it can receive the attention and care it deserves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Aeternum Game Studios, which is developing a 2D sidescrolling game focused on combat and exploration called Aeterna Lucis, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/aeternathegame\/status\/1958804217373634579\" rel=\"nofollow\">is postponing<\/a> a planned September release to sometime in 2026 because the game \u201cwouldn\u2019t have the visibility it deserves.\u201d Aeternum also says that it still doesn\u2019t have the development kits to \u201censure a simultaneous release on all next-generation platforms,\u201d so the delay means it can \u201cbring you Aeterna Lucis at the right time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Frogteam Games, which is working on the 2D exploration game Stomp and the Sword of Miracles, is delaying a planned August 29th demo launch, as spotted <a href=\"https:\/\/aftermath.site\/silksong-indie-delays\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">by Aftermath<\/a>. \u201cTrying to market an indie game is already really, really hard,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.steampowered.com%2Fapp%2F2837590%2FStomp_and_the_Sword_of_Miracles%2F\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Frogteam Games says<\/a>. It\u2019s the task of trying to get attention in a deep sea of other amazing games. In the case of Silksong, however, I feel like a little krill trying to not get eaten by a blue whale. Tiny devs like me rely on word of mouth and streamers to bring in visibility, and everyone\u2019s gonna be busy with Silksong for quite a while!<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Even with these delays, early September is still packed with notable game releases, including Necrosoft Games\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=1025X1701640&amp;xs=1&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fstore.steampowered.com%2Fapp%2F1900250%2FDemonschool%2F\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Demonschool<\/a> (September 3rd), Rogue Factor\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nacongaming.com\/en-US\/hell-is-us?srsltid=AfmBOopyqoJA7xkXuNy6kkA0Y7NrJpCZgYeUYqUce5c3lw90_m77bDYL\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hell is Us<\/a> (September 4th), and Bloober Team\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/17\/24272787\/bloober-gets-bloody-in-its-next-game\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cronos: The New Dawn<\/a> (September 5th).
