DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — For scary movie fans, the end of summerween only means we’re days closer to one of the city’s biggest horror events.<\/p>\n
HorrorCon LA<\/a><\/strong> is set to return for its fourth year Sept. 20-21 in Downtown LA.<\/p>\n Click here for HorrorCon LA 2025 tickets<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The event draws thousands to the LA Convention Center each year for a celebration of filmmaking and horror’s cinematic legacy.<\/p>\n Fans of the creepy and macabre will salivate over the convention’s list of celebrity meet-and-greet opportunities, panel discussions and live entertainment.<\/p>\n A horror market featuring a curated list of exhibitors also means the chance to score some one-of-a-kind collectables, convention director Andrea Maria said.<\/p>\n “We want to make sure the attendees really, really enjoy walking around, (and) that they see things that they don’t see at other events,” Maria said.<\/p>\n She told ABC7 the convention’s audience might not be what you’d expect.<\/p>\n “We actually have a broad range of attendees, ranging from little kids to grandparents,” Maria said.<\/p>\n This year’s convention will also feature a Sunday Family Day, with each paid adult admitting between one and three children, based on the ticket chosen.<\/p>\n As Los Angeles counts down to the big weekend, HorrorCon LA is building the suspense with more than two dozen celebrity guests yet to be announced.<\/p>\n Actors Teo Briones, of “Final Destination: Bloodlines”; Eric Roberts, of “The Dark Knight”; Ricco Ross, of “Aliens”; and Mindy Sterling, of “Austin Powers” and ABC’s “The Goldbergs,” have already been named.<\/p>\n Maria said this year’s crop of guests will include celebrities from both contemporary and classic horror favorites, plus some retro vibes in the form of ’80s icons.<\/p>\n The convention is also playing up the intersection of horror films and music this year, with a list of performing artists joining the guest list.<\/p>\n You can follow the announcements on the HorrorCon LA website<\/a><\/strong>, Facebook<\/a><\/strong> and Instagram<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n “It’s going to be ‘killer,’ as they say,” Maria quipped, with a laugh.<\/p>\n The convention center is located at 1201 S Figueroa St., in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n More Local Events: ABC7 In Your Community<\/a><\/strong> | Submit Your Event to ABC7<\/a><\/strong> Copyright \u00a9 2025 KABC Television, LLC.
