CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was shot on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near the South Loop on Friday night, Chicago police said.<\/p>\n

Police said the shooting happened in the 1700-block of South Lake Shore Drive around 10:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 30-year-old man was inside a vehicle when a gunman in a silver SUV shot at him, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim, shot in the knee, was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.<\/p>\n

The suspect fled the scene. There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.<\/p>\n

Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.<\/p>\n
