H-E-B plans to spend millions to develop a 139,000-square-foot warehouse in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

As H-E-B LP continues its expansion across Dallas-Fort Worth, the company is adding some real estate in Fort Worth to support the effort.<\/p>\n

The San Antonio-based grocer plans to spend about $20 million finishing out a 139,000-square-foot industrial space at 6900 AWG Way in south Fort Worth, according to an Aug. 20 Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Such filings are often preliminary and the information in them is subject to change, but they often reveal intentions of a company to build or lease new space.<\/p>\n

The space is a general warehouse and storage space to support expansion across North Texas, H-E-B spokesperson Mabrie Jackson wrote in an email, although she did not elaborate further.<\/p>\n

According to the filing, the finish out of the building is expected to start Aug. 15 and be completed by March 2027. Maryland-based Andrew W. Booth & Associates Inc. is the design firm listed for the project.<\/p>\n
