{"id":169196,"date":"2025-08-23T13:09:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T13:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/169196\/"},"modified":"2025-08-23T13:09:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T13:09:09","slug":"jax-airport-busier-than-ever","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/169196\/","title":{"rendered":"Jax airport busier than ever"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People keep heading to Northeast Florida. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Time was when the Jacksonville International Airport was one of the more sedate places to make an arrival or departure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These days, though, there\u2019s more activity all the time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And in fact, last month was the busiest ever, with more than 709,000 people traveling through JIA, good for a 3.1% increase YOY over what was previously the most active month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn the first half of 2025, 2 new airlines and 12 new nonstop destinations have landed at JAX,\u201d Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO <strong>Mark VanLoh<\/strong> said. \u201cThis is proof that Northeast Florida is a growing region and an attractive destination for airlines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">JAA notes that because of the growth, infrastructure projects are on the way including a new Concourse with six gates and more concessions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavalrystrategies.com\/\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/35430585-724C-4774-BF52-F6A1E4F0D36C.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-306946\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, another parking garage is under construction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Both projects should wrap by the end of next year.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t Post Views: 0&#13;\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"People keep heading to Northeast Florida.
