NEW YORK (WABC) — Heads up commuters: There are service suspensions and delays on the A, C and D trains in Manhattan due to a loss in power, the MTA said on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
According to the MTA, C train service has been suspended since 12 p.m. as the transit agency investigates a power outage to the signaling system between 125th Street and 145th Street. Officials say while commuters may see some C trains running on the tracks, no additional trains will depart from their first or last station.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, A and D trains are running with severe delays in both directions after the transit agency restored power to the signaling system around 1:15 p.m. The MTA says both train lines have resumed making scheduled stops in Manhattan.<\/p>\n
As the MTA continues to restore service in Upper Manhattan, commuters are advised to take the No. 1 train or use either the M5, M7, M10 or M11 bus lines as an alternative.<\/p>\n
