FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Northbound lanes of Interstate 820 at Berry Street will close nightly this week as part of ongoing construction on the Southeast Connector project, officials said.<\/p>\n
The closures are scheduled from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from South-Point Constructors. Drivers will detour to the frontage road.\u00a0<\/p>\n
During those times, all northbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road. Berry Street under I-820 will also close during the same hours and days. Drivers will be directed to U-turn at Wilbarger Street or Ramey Avenue.<\/p>\n
TxDOT advises motorists to plan ahead, allow extra time for commutes and consider alternate routes. The speed limit through the Southeast Connector corridor remains reduced to 55 mph.<\/p>\n
