{"id":170025,"date":"2025-08-23T20:54:24","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T20:54:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/170025\/"},"modified":"2025-08-23T20:54:24","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T20:54:24","slug":"i-820-closures-in-fort-worth-to-start-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/170025\/","title":{"rendered":"I-820 closures in Fort Worth to start this week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I-820 northbound lanes at Berry Street will close nightly for construction, detouring drivers to the frontage road.<\/p>\n<p>FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Northbound lanes of Interstate 820 at Berry Street will close nightly this week as part of ongoing construction on the Southeast Connector project, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The closures are scheduled from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 9 p.m. Saturday until 4 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from South-Point Constructors. Drivers will detour to the frontage road.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During those times, all northbound traffic will be detoured to the frontage road. Berry Street under I-820 will also close during the same hours and days. Drivers will be directed to U-turn at Wilbarger Street or Ramey Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>TxDOT advises motorists to plan ahead, allow extra time for commutes and consider alternate routes. The speed limit through the Southeast Connector corridor remains reduced to 55 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said all work is dependent on weather conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I-820 northbound lanes at Berry Street will close nightly for construction, detouring drivers to the frontage road.
