The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose 2.8 cents to $4.814 on Saturday, one day after recording its highest increase since April 1, 2.9 cents.<\/p>\n

The average price has risen for four consecutive days, increasing 6.8 cents, after a run of four straight minor decreases totaling eight-tenths of a cent, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.<\/a><\/p>\n

The average price is 6.9 cents more than one week ago and 4.9 cents more than one month ago, but 4.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.82 since rising to a record $6.434 on Oct. 5, 2022.<\/p>\n

The national average price rose for the fourth consecutive day, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.149. It has risen 1.9 cents over the past four days, including four-tenths of a cent Friday. The increases follow a five-day streak of decreases totaling 3 cents.<\/p>\n

The national average price is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago but six-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 22.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.867 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.<\/p>\n
