According to Celebrity Net Worth, Corso has a net worth of $12 million<\/a>. Corso, known for his trademark headgear predictions, has been a staple of ESPN\u2019s show since 1987. Before his broadcasting career, Corso served as head coach at Louisville, Indiana, Northern Illinois, and briefly in the USFL.<\/p>\n

Lee Corso Talks About His Retirement<\/p>\n

Lee Corso has long been entertaining college football fans with his humorous appearances on the College Football GameDay show. Some day it was bound to happen that Corso would leave the show. Still, it came as a shock to many when the time finally arrived. On April 17, Corso announced that he would step away from ESPN\u2019s College GameDay following the Week 1 broadcast on August 30.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy family and I will be forever indebted for the opportunity to be part of ESPN and College GameDay for nearly 40 years,\u201d Corso said in a statement via ESPN<\/a>. \u201cI have a treasure of many friends, fond memories and some unusual experiences to take with me into retirement.\u201d<\/p>\n

ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro praised Corso<\/a> for his years of work and said his retirement would be celebrated.<\/p>\n
