Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer<\/a> said Saturday he hasn\u2019t spoken to pass rusher Micah Parsons about his conduct during Friday\u2019s preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons<\/a> but plans to do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have not,\u201d Schottenheimer said during a conference call, if he\u2019s talked to Parsons. \u201cI\u2019m aware of it [the conduct], but I have not had a chance to talk to Micah. I will talk to Micah tomorrow and get a chance to sit down and visit with him and handle it internally.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the game, Parsons lay down on the training table for several moments and didn\u2019t wear a jersey, which is mandated by Schottenheimer to all players who don\u2019t play. <\/p>\n

\u201cWithout talking to Micah, I need to figure out what he was doing and why he was doing it,\u201d Schottenheimer said. \u201cUntil I talk to him, I\u2019m obviously not going to talk about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Parsons declined to comment after the game. <\/p>\n

Schottenehimer confirmed Parsons had an MRI exam on his back, which he complained is tight.<\/a> Schottenheimer said the MRI came back clean. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, it sounds like the MRI came back pretty clean and we\u2019ll see how he feels tomorrow when we see him,\u201d Schottenheimer said.<\/p>\n

Parsons is conducting a hold-in as he awaits a contract extension. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said Parsons is under contract for three seasons<\/a>, his salary for this season, and the possibility of the team placing the franchise tag on him the next two seasons. <\/p>\n

Parsons hasn\u2019t practiced the entire training camp but is attending walkthrough practices and meetings. <\/p>\n

On Aug. 1, Parsons requested a trade from the team.<\/a><\/p>\n
