When they arrived, no fight was found. However, officers did find spent shell casings. It appears that a gun was fired in the area. If you were in the area and saw anything or have information, please call us at 610-734-7693 or contact us through our social media platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The second incident was at Burmont and Marshall roads:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers responded to a report of a shooting. They found two males at the scene, one of whom had a gunshot wound to his leg. The investigation showed that the males had been handling a gun inside a home on the 3700 block of Randolph Street when it accidentally went off. The injured male is being treated for a non-life-threatening injury. The residence is that of the victim.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police didn\u2019t provide times for the incidents but police radio traffic showed they appeared to have occurred simultaneously about 2:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous shell casings were recovered in the first incident. Police alerted area hospitals regarding a potential walk-in or drop-off gunshot victim. It was not clear whether anyone was hit.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a brief foot pursuit in one of the incidents and a firearm was recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Dispatch notes showed that the gunshot victim is 15 years old and was struck in a leg. A tourniquet was applied to the leg at the scene, according to EMS radio traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday emergency services were sent to Pennell and Weir roads in Aston Township for a motorcycle accident.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, it was reported that one person was down in the roadway. The cyclist was taken to ChristianaCare in Wilmington. There was no word on the rider\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday, fire crews responded to the Wawa at 67 N. Lansdowne Ave. in Lansdowne for a smoke condition, but were soon recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, fire apparatus responded to the first block of Grays Avenue in Glenolden for smoke from the second floor of a house.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing was showing as crews pulled up, but soon the smoke was discovered.
