The all-pink truck will stop in Southlake, Dallas and Arlington as it celebrates two milestones \u2014 Hello Kitty\u2019s 50th anniversary and the truck\u2019s 10th year on the road.<\/p>\n<p>Hello Kitty first appeared in Japan in 1975 and quickly became a global icon. Yet fans have long <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment\/arts\/miranda\/la-et-cam-hello-kitty-in-los-angeles-not-a-cat-20140826-column.html#page=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">debated<\/a> one question \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/BL-JRTB-17792\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is she actually a cat?<\/a> In 2014, Sanrio\u2019s founder Shintaro Tsuji said no, explaining that she isn\u2019t a literal animal, just as Mickey Mouse isn\u2019t a real mouse. A Sanrio spokesperson later clarified that Hello Kitty is designed in the motif of a cat, essentially a personification. So, cat or not-quite-cat, one thing\u2019s certain: she\u2019s adorable \u2014 and she\u2019s rolling into town.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"hello-kitty-cafe-sdcc-2023-01\" id=\"file-3779104\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/hello-kitty-cafe-sdcc-2023-01.jpg;w=960.jpeg\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\n. Photo: Hello Kitty Cafe Truck&#13;<\/p>\n<p>When And Where To Find It<\/p>\n<p>The first stop is at Southlake Town Square on Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The truck will be parked near Rustin Park across from Nike at 285 Grand Ave.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks later, on Sept. 6, the tour heads to Dallas. Fans can find the truck at The Shops at Park Lane from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. near the lawn between Chipotle and Starbucks, 8080 Park Lane.<\/p>\n<p>The final DFW appearance is Sept. 13, in Arlington. The truck will be at 3811 South Cooper St. near the ice rink and Round 1 Bowling, also from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s New This Year<\/p>\n<p>The truck is rolling out fresh merchandise in honor of both anniversaries. According to an official statement, shoppers can expect new thermal bottles, mugs, blankets, T-shirts, sweatshirts and Hello Kitty Cafe plush toys. Anniversary keychains and other collectibles will also be available.<\/p>\n<p>Sweet offerings include giant chef cookies, five-piece macaron sets and madeleine cookies. Fans can also pick up exclusive iridescent totes created for Hello Kitty\u2019s 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"macarons-hello-kitty\" id=\"file-4138941\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/macarons-hello-kitty.JPG;w=960.jpeg\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhoto: Hello Kitty Cafe Truck&#13;<\/p>\n<p>A Decade On The Road<\/p>\n<p>Since debuting in 2014, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has traveled to more than 100 cities nationwide. Stops regularly draw hundreds of visitors eager to snap up limited-edition gear and indulge in themed desserts.<\/p>\n<p>The Dallas-Fort Worth tour dates continue the tradition. After Arlington, the truck moves on to San Antonio on Sept. 20.<\/p>\n<p>What to Know Before You Go<\/p>\n<p>The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck accepts credit and debit cards only, no cash.
