SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A woman in her 20s was hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds after police say she tried to break up a fight outside an East Side night club. <\/p>\n
The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. Sunday on East Commerce Street near East Houston Street.<\/p>\n
Police say a physical fight between two parties broke out in the night club parking lot then spilled over to a lot across the street. A woman in her 20s was shot multiple times after she attempted to break up the fight, police said. <\/p>\n
Officers applied tourniquets to the victim’s extremities until she was transported to a nearby hospital by EMS. Her injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, police said. <\/p>\n
Police searched the area however no suspect was located.
