{"id":172717,"date":"2025-08-24T21:55:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-24T21:55:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/172717\/"},"modified":"2025-08-24T21:55:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T21:55:14","slug":"west-ham-suddenly-interested-in-signing-25m-tottenham-star-after-thomas-frank-makes-him-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/172717\/","title":{"rendered":"West Ham suddenly interested in signing \u00a325m Tottenham star after Thomas Frank makes him available"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>TBR Football understands that Tottenham Hotspur are working really hard to move Yves Bissouma this summer, and West Ham United is now an option.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/harry-redknapp-delivers-his-verdict-on-thomas-frank-leaving-yves-bissouma-out-of-the-super-cup-for-tottenham\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bissouma missed the UEFA Super Cup final<\/a> due to disciplinary reasons and the midfielder appears to have fallen out of favour with Thomas Frank.<\/p>\n<p>The North London club are desperate to ensure that he is one of the players who heads for the exit door in the final nine days. <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/after-eberechi-eze-deal-tottenham-are-working-hard-to-sell-three-players-before-the-deadline\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham also wanted Bryan Gil and Manor Solomon sold<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Hammers have now emerged as a serious contender to sign the 28-year-old, with Edson Alvarez having joined Fenerbahce.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-2227826980-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Yves Bissouma during Tottenham training in pre-season.\" class=\"wp-image-975447\" \/>Photo by Yu Chun Christopher Wong\/Eurasia Sport Images\/Getty ImagesSources: West Ham want Yves Bissouma on loan<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/tottenham-hotspur\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> could make <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/topic\/yves-bissouma\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yves Bissouma<\/a> available on loan and West Ham United would be open to taking him if that were the case, sources have told <strong>TBR Football\u2019s<\/strong> chief correspondent, <strong>Graeme Bailey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Graham Potter wants to add to his midfield options at the London Stadium following a thoroughly underwhelming start to the season.<\/p>\n<p>The former Brighton manager knows the Spurs player, having managed him during his time at the AMEX Stadium before selling him for \u00a325 million.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/fulham-expert-tells-tottenham-what-to-expect-from-joao-palhinha-after-4-3m-loan-best-in-the-world-claim-made\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham signed Joao Palhinha<\/a> and the Portuguese international is now the team\u2019s first choice number six option.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/thomas-frank-says-tottenham-have-found-him-a-top-player-who-can-be-signed-for-just-27m\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Palhinha impressed against Manchester City<\/a>; meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall, Pape Matar Sarr and Archie Gray also make up Frank\u2019s other midfield options.<\/p>\n<p>The North London club\u2019s squad is currently rather bloated and there is a strong need for the deadwood to be shifted in the final days of the transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>There are also plans in place to add to Frank\u2019s team in the coming days, with <a href=\"https:\/\/tbrfootball.com\/how-tottenham-feel-about-savinho-deal-following-talks-with-man-city-after-2-0-win\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tottenham growing in confidence over signing Savinho<\/a> and contact made with Como and Real Madrid for Nico Paz.<\/p>\n<p>Tottenham were offered Lucas Paqeuta by West Ham<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Tottenham were offered the chance to sign Lucas Paqeuta from West Ham, but didn\u2019t show a great deal of interest in doing a deal at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Spurs remain on the hunt for a new number ten and perhaps that stance could change as the window reaches its climax.<\/p>\n<p>Paqueta netted a stunning goal against Chelsea on Friday evening, but the Hammers ended up losing 5-1 at the London Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian could be open to leaving East London this summer, and especially if Champions League football were to be offered to him.
