Ten minutes later, Dubuisson was already on the hunt for another car to swipe, according to prosecutors, and that\u2019s when he happened upon an Uber driver in his Toyota Highlander at 22nd Road and the Whitestone Expressway service road about two blocks away from the Mobil.<\/p>\n
Dubuisson knocked on the window of a 52-year-old\u2019s SUV, telling him, \u201cGive me the car,\u201d while hoisting a crowbar, court papers said. The driver fled with the keyfob in his pocket \u2014 but Dubuisson chased him, shoving him to the ground and snatching the keys, the complaint said.<\/p>\n
Once behind the wheel of the Highlander, he allegedly backed up it into the elderly woman and then fled the scene, court documents showed.<\/p>\n

Cops responding to the Uber driver\u2019s 911 call flooded the scene and encircled Dubuisson in the Highlander with their guns drawn \u2014 and that\u2019s when Det. Corey Fisher was blasted twice by friendly fire, leaving him with a broken leg, the complaint said.<\/p>\n
Fisher, a 12-year veteran with the Queens North Warrants Squad, was rushed to the hospital for surgery.<\/p>\n
Following his arrest, Dubuisson allegedly weaved a tangled web of lies to investigators, the documents said. <\/p>\n
\u201cI went over to the guy and said \u2018Give me the f\u2013king car,\u2019 and I acted like I had a gun. I came behind and I said \u2018Give me everything. Get the f\u2013k out of the car.\u2019 I was intentionally signaling that I had a gun. I just scared him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe second Chinese guy disrespected me. I asked him for money and he ignored me. I threatened him. I said \u2018Yo, I\u2019m beat you up,\u2019 this was before I macked the V. I\u2019m taking the car. The guy was afraid.\u201d <\/p>\n
Dubuisson\u2019s alleged rampage starter around 8:30 a.m. Friday and left numerous people assaulted and injured. obtained by the NYPost.<\/p>\n
Dubuisson didn\u2019t end up having a real gun in the end.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis defendant brought chaos to a quiet Queens neighborhood on Friday morning when he attempted to carjack multiple people and assaulted a livery driver \u2013 events that directly led to a responding New York City Police Detective being shot in a friendly fire incident,\u201d said Queens County District Attorney Melinda Katz.<\/p>\n
\u201cMake no mistake, this defendant\u2019s alleged actions set into motion the events that led to Detective Corey Fisher\u2019s hospitalization,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement sources say the crime spree even started a day earlier, with Dubuisson suspected of stealing two more cars \u2014 allegedly crashing one into a construction site \u2014 and being arrested and released with a desk appearance ticket for jumping a subway turnstile.<\/p>\n
