In fact, muscle imbalances, limited range of motion, and fatigue during core exercises are common. Daily tasks may also end up causing discomfort. \u201cUsing a gym ball to work specific muscles such as the lower back, obliques, and abdominals, to keep balance while performing activities, can significantly help strengthen the core,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>Exercise balls for joint health<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGym ball exercises offer substantial benefits for joint stability. The unstable surface of the gym ball requires constant micro-adjustments from the body, which engages stabiliser muscles that support the joints. For safer practice, he recommended starting with smaller hops or holding onto a stable surface for additional support as you build confidence and strength.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMake sure your ball is placed on a hard and rough surface.
