The winner scored their lucky ticket at a Stop & Shop in Queens\u2019 Springfield Gardens, aptly located at 134-40 Springfield Blvd. <\/p>\n
The ticket, worth $1,000,000, is Powerball\u2019s second-place prize. <\/p>\n
The drawing took place Saturday night. With no first-place prize winners, the Powerball jackpot has skyrocketed to $750 million. <\/p>\n
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. In order to win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number.<\/p>\n
Powerball tickets can be purchased at any New York Lottery retailer for $2, seven days a week. The deadline for purchasing a ticket is 10 p.m. on draw nights.<\/p>\n
Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m., and the New York Lottery urges players to buy tickets early to avoid last-minute lines.<\/p>\n
