In the end, you should see the client\u2019s personality, not ours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img draggable=\"true\" alt=\"corey damen jenkins designed this chesapeake bay estate\" title=\"corey damen jenkins designed this chesapeake bay estate\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"5419\" height=\"7013\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" style=\"color:transparent;width:100%;height:auto;\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/chapter-ten-3-design-reimagined-cdja-lr-ph-andrew-frasz-68a779b80e9de.jpg\" class=\"css-0 e1g79fud0\"\/>Andrew Frasz<\/p>\n<p>A staircase off the front hall features a vintage sunburst mirror and a flock of crystal swallows from Lalique.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"6\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">Nowhere is this approach more apparent than in the Chesapeake Bay home\u2019s front hall, which features walls clad in a cheerful yellow grasscloth from Kravet. \u201cThe client\u2019s favorite color is sunshine yellow,\u201d says Jenkins. \u201cWe wanted to celebrate that.\u201d He then glazed the wall covering with a special plaster mixed on-site, giving it a textured patina that complements the space\u2019s crisp white architectural moldings.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-i9p093 emevuu60\">For the front hall\u2019s furnishings, Jenkins took a pair of armchairs the clients already owned and reupholstered them in a blue-striped fabric from his collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kravet.com\/designer-corey-damen-jenkins\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.kravet.com\/designer-corey-damen-jenkins\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"Kravet.\" data-node-id=\"7.1\" class=\"body-link css-1c3jgal emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">Kravet.<\/a> He also added a bespoke skirted loveseat, a gilded Aerin floor lamp from Visual Comfort, and window treatments in a blue and white floral motif. The second-story library, with its cluster of antique sea-foam chairs, features a teal and mossy green scenic mural.
