Eater previously reported that it will include <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/5\/20\/24433894\/kwame-onwuachi-patty-palace-opening-time-out-market-union-square-jamaican-beef-patties-food-hall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chef Kwame Onwuachi\u2019s Patty Palace stand<\/a>, but now the full list includes Unapologetic Foods\u2019 kebab restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/7\/10\/24195966\/kebabwala-adda-east-village-opening-dhamaka-unapologetic-foods\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kebabwala<\/a>, a burger stand by Bushwick bar food spot <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/coming-attractions\/403631\/lori-jayne-bushwick-closing-opening-new-restaurants-manhattan-williamsburg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lori Jayne<\/a>, a new location of <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/8\/28\/24214430\/taqueria-el-chato-open-greenpoint-brooklyn-aldama-ponyboy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taqueria El Chato<\/a>, and much more. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/time-out-market-union-square\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Time Out Market Union Square<\/a> will open at 124 East 14th Street, between Third and Fourth avenues in the East Village, in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Here\u2019s a rundown of Time Out Market\u2019s Union Square food vendors:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kebabwala.nyc\/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAadJpwoCPBptDd0S2B1JgM7N_qBnO7lw08zXfxotBAueqV2cVlNdBKBC53Lplw_aem_T-zv_7AjM8RjfoCmWGYrEA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kebabwala<\/a> will serve up kebabs from northern India, as chef Chintan Pandya explains. There will be chicken, lamb, beef, and paneer options. Originally, parent company Unapologetic Foods was planning on opening the restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/7\/10\/24195966\/kebabwala-adda-east-village-opening-dhamaka-unapologetic-foods\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as a standalone<\/a> in the East Village on Second Avenue, but that <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/4\/29\/24420313\/adda-nyc-indian-restaurant-lic-closed-reopening-east-village-unapologetic-foods-open\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was put on hold<\/a> because of <a href=\"https:\/\/evgrieve.com\/2025\/04\/unapologetic-foods-has-moved-on-from-82.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gas line issues<\/a>. (The team relocated its Long Island City restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/venue\/116396\/adda-east-village\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adda<\/a>, into the East Village to much acclaim.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Eater <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/coming-attractions\/403631\/lori-jayne-bushwick-closing-opening-new-restaurants-manhattan-williamsburg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already reported<\/a> that<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lorijaynebk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Lori Jayne<\/a>, the hot Bushwick food spot within dive bar Alphaville, closed over the weekend while chef and owner Sam Braverman teased that he was opening something new in Manhattan. That turns out to be a burger-dedicated stand within Time Out Market. The burgers will be made with an \u201cextra fatty custom beef blend,\u201d he tells Eater, from Brooklyn butcher shop Paisanos, and will cost $10 ($11 for a cheeseburger). There will also be black garlic sweet chile chicken wings, Buffalo chicken sandwiches (where the meat is made with a gluten-free breading and is marinating in a mixture that contains grana padana), crispy Sichuan mushrooms, frozen custards, and fries. This will be Patty\u2019s third overall location: the first is in <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/3\/26\/24393899\/kwame-onwuachi-patty-palace-citi-field-open-new-restaurant-nyc-baseball-stadium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Citi Field<\/a>, and there\u2019s a food truck at <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/new-york-restaurant-news\/398979\/patty-palace-food-truck-opening-lincoln-center-kwame-onwuachi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lincoln Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">New York City Mexican restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/taqueriaelchato.nyc\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taqueria El Chato<\/a>\u2019s Union Square location will be its third. It\u2019ll serve up tacos (suadero, pastor, tripa, chorizo, mushroom), vampiros, and quesadillas. Co-owners Chris Reyes and chef Gerardo Alcaraz <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/8\/28\/24214430\/taqueria-el-chato-open-greenpoint-brooklyn-aldama-ponyboy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opened the restaurant<\/a> in Greenpoint in August 2024, followed by one in <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/5\/1\/24419463\/new-restaurant-nyc-may-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenwich Village<\/a> this past May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Astoria Thai restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kamraithai.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kam Rai Thai<\/a>\u2019s Time Out Market Union Square stand will serve fast-casual dishes like smoked grilled pork buns, khao soi with chicken, crispy Hat Yai fried chicken, sticky rice, and pad see ew. Co-owners chef Dhanapol \u201cOak\u201d Marprasert and Jiraporn \u201cJina\u201d Tisopa just opened a new Thai restaurant at Hudson Yards, <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/restaurant-openings\/400148\/nyc-new-restaurant-openings-july-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Samsaen<\/a>. They opened the original Kam Rai in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Staten Island sandwich shop <a href=\"https:\/\/anthonyspaninoteca.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paninoteca by Anthony<\/a> is opening its second location and first in Manhattan. Expect pizza and salads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">The food hall will have a section dedicated to pastries, sweets, and breakfast items. There will be <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/dining-out-in-ny\/399730\/nyc-bakeries-that-sell-one-pastry-lisbonata-im-donut-sunday-morning-minuto-bauli\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cinnamon rolls<\/a> from newer East Village bakery <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sundaymorningcinnamonrolls\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunday Morning<\/a>; Epicerie Boulud\u2019s croissants, egg muffins, and navettes; New Jersey bakery <a href=\"https:\/\/shortbreadsociety.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOop89PJRt4cv49HSpLdT3VFZE4Lcycb9EQ4310RhR5HT4XmDdfY0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shortbread Society<\/a>\u2019s namesake item; Magnolia Bakery\u2019s banana pudding; and New York-style cheesecake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">The bar will serve cocktails (bourbon-ginger sour, mezcal-pear), beers, wines, and nonalcoholic options. Other drinks include espressos from Coffee Project NY and La Colombe cold brew.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Time Out Market Union Square took over what was a location of food hall <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/3\/25\/24393594\/urbanspace-union-square-closes-time-out-market-manhattan-opening-nyc-food-halls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Urbanspace<\/a> (which is in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/4\/23\/24137057\/urbanspace-food-hall-rename\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">middle of shuttering and rebranding<\/a> its existing location). The 10,000-square-foot, 240-seat space includes seven food stands, a bar, a stage, communal tables, and an outdoor terrace. There are plans for events, such as concerts, dance shows, and DJ sets.
