This Halloween season brings an overwhelming slate of horror releases packed into September and October to ensure maximum fright for the holiest of horror holidays. The horror doesn\u2019t stop there, either; we\u2019re looking beyond Halloween and into the rest of 2025.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no surprise that this year offers another densely packed slate for the Halloween season, and there\u2019s likely more horror on the way. Expect plenty of surprise release announcements in store as more streaming services debut their seasonal releases, schedules, and beyond. Poor Things<\/a>\u00a0director\u00a0Yorgos Lanthimos<\/strong> reunites with star Emma Stone\u00a0<\/strong>on a reimagining of 2003\u2019s Korean genre-bender\u00a0Save the Green Planet!,<\/a> an off-beat, black comedy-sci-fi feature written and directed by Jang Joon-Hwan. Bugonia follows two conspiracy-obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced she is an alien intent on destroying Planet Earth. Jesse Plemons\u00a0<\/strong>(Civil War,\u00a0Antlers), Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias\u00a0<\/strong>(Let\u2019s Start a Cult),<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Alicia Silverstone<\/strong>\u00a0(The Lodge) also star in\u00a0Bugonia.\u00a0Lanthimos directs from a screenplay by\u00a0Will Tracy<\/strong>\u00a0(The Menu<\/a>).
